Camborne Walkway – Whitby

This award winning project involved preserving the environmentally and culturally sensitive Camborne Walkway, a 1.8km track renewal undertaken to preserve this popular coastal walkway damaged by erosion and requiring remedial work to repair the slipped path including landward retreat. Coastal armouring and a timber retaining wall were constructed to protect from future erosion. The project was completed to budget and on time for Porirua City Council. Our work was recognised with a Category A award in the Wellington/Wairarapa Construction Awards and was a finalist in the National Construction Awards.
