Tuatara Brewery Extension – Brewtown Upper Hutt

In preparation for the relocation of the Tuatara Brewery to Brewtown structural floor strengthening was required to allow for all the equipment required to be positioned in and outside of the brewery. This involved a combination of laying a 400mm slab on top of the existing concrete floor of approx. 857m2 with 52 tonne of structural steel, excavating out sections of the existing floor and reinforcing these areas with a 400mm new floors and structural steel. We also excavated the existing drive turning area in front of the new brewery to allow for large truck deliveries and distribution collections.
