Wairarapa Safety Improvements

This project was over three sites in Carterton, Greytown and Featherston, and its purpose was to slow traffic entering from State Highway 2.

Physical works entailed milling to a design height of 335mm below the surface level before building up three structural layers of AC20 asphalt with an AC14 wearing course and constructing a raised safety crossing on each site to finish.

WTA directly engaged PCL Contracting for this project, impressed by our extensive resource capability.
