The PCL Story

Established in 2006 by Luke Lee, Jacqui Fairbrother and Wayne and Karen Buchanan, PCL Contracting has always put people and relationships at the heart of our business. Our people and relationship-first approach is the reason for our long-term clients and staff who work with PCL.

In 2015, Luke and Jacqui became sole owners of PCL Contracting Ltd., with Luke taking up the director position, thereby starting a new chapter at the company. Later, as part of our long-term succession plan, General Manager Callum Buchanan and his fiancé, Ash Mckenna bought in as shareholders, followed a few years later by Keanu Bevan, our Surfacing Division Manager.

PCL Contracting Ltd. now employs more than 90 people and we carry out all forms of civil contracting, infrastructure, excavation, and 3-Water drainage, as well as our niche, chipseal and asphalting. We have extensive experience in roading projects, streetscape upgrades, general trenching and excavation, drainage and all aspects of utility construction. In addition, our longstanding relationship with local government and experience with culturally and environmentally sensitive projects make us a preferred partner for many clients.
